In short: Your photos never leave your device. Text
recognition (OCR) runs on your iPhone. Only the recognised or entered text is sent to our
server and to our AI provider to explain the letter. There is no advertising, no tracking,
no analytics SDKs.

2. Data we process
Letter/document text – sent to our server (bm-api.pme-mobil.de) and to Anthropic
(Claude API) to generate the explanation. The photo itself is not uploaded. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b)
GDPR.
Account & history (optional) – if you use “Sign in with Apple”, we receive a
pseudonymous Apple user identifier; saved analyses are stored on our server so you can find them
again. Without signing in, no history is stored server-side.
Cancellation & mailing (Premium) – data you enter is processed to create the
letter and, if you use the mailing feature, passed to a postal dispatch provider.
Payments – handled solely by Apple (App Store). We do not receive payment data.
3. Processors / recipients
Anthropic PBC (USA) – AI analysis; text is used only to answer your request, not
for model training. Transfer to the USA based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Hosting – our server is operated at one.com (EU).
Apple – Sign in with Apple, app delivery, payments.
4. Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection
(Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact:
